01 / Our starting point
Reception needs to find the patient record. The lab needs to know which results await verification, and the ward needs to know which beds are ready. We build tools for these tasks and the records staff need to complete them.

THE WAY WE THINK ABOUT THE PRODUCT
A patient’s contact details, identifiers, visits, and records should have a common foundation. RAKT connects departmental workflows to the patient, while keeping each consultation, admission, order, and invoice identifiable as its own record. That distinction matters when a team needs to understand both the history and the work happening today.
A laboratory’s verification process is different from a pharmacy’s dispensing process. Theatre scheduling is different from managing a ward. Each department has its own actions, settings, and records; shared identity, billing, and permissions connect them. Staff can use shared records while following the steps their department requires.
Signing a report, administering a medicine, returning stock, and completing a case mean different things. RAKT records these as distinct workflow actions. Permissions and configured checks help determine who can take the next step. In a demonstration, check these actions with the people who will use them.
