FOR THE TEAMS DELIVERING CARE

RAKT for clinics,
hospitals, and labs.

A clinic, a multi-speciality hospital, and a hospital group organise work differently. We’ll demonstrate the tasks your staff need to complete, using a typical patient visit or admission.

IN YOUR WALKTHROUGH

Your walkthrough: outpatient care, laboratory, and pharmacy.

01 / Clinics & nursing homes

Keep the visit moving.

Explore outpatient registration, consultation notes, prescriptions, and billing. Add the lab or pharmacy workflows relevant to your setup.

02 / Multi-speciality hospitals

Bring the departments together.

Walk through a patient journey across outpatient care, diagnostics, admission, procedures, and discharge. See where records, orders, and charges connect.

03 / Hospital groups

Make room for each location.

Discuss how your organisation, branches, department instances, and staff permissions should be structured. Review the access each team needs before rollout.

04 / Standalone laboratories

Give the lab its own workspace.

Start with orders, collection, results, verification, report signing, and quality workflows. The platform supports a dedicated lab configuration.

A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT

Prepare for your
RAKT demonstration.

01

Bring a patient journey

Pick a common outpatient visit or inpatient stay and describe it from arrival to payment. Include the points where staff call another department, copy information, print a document, or check a separate system. That gives the walkthrough a concrete path, and makes it easier to see where RAKT fits and where a requirement needs more discussion.

02

Review the records you already keep

List the patient records, service catalogs, tariffs, drug lists, and report formats you need to carry forward. Data migration needs a review of the source format, field mapping, record quality, and validation. Agree what moves into the new setup and what needs to remain accessible in an existing system before setting a cutover date.

03

Agree roles before launch

Identify the people who will own registration, clinical sign-off, stock, accounts, and settings. Department permissions should match those responsibilities. Include the team members who work across locations or cover other desks, so their access can be discussed deliberately rather than discovered during the first busy shift.

04

Agree what staff must be able to do before launch

Choose the workflows the team needs to complete before go-live: a consultation and prescription, an admission and discharge, a signed lab report, a pharmacy sale and return, or a payer account. Discuss training, support, and the order of rollout alongside these checks. Timing and scope depend on the hospital’s actual setup.
